It was about 3 years ago that we first saw Chikahisa Studio's work at NYNOW. The use of color, shape and texture drew us in and we were instantly infatuated with the line. We connected quickly with Ann's easy demeanor and learned that she'd recently moved to Seattle – which made our love-at-first-sight even sweeter.
Later that year, we introduced a collection of her work during our first Jewelry Invitational and we've carried a selection of her rings, necklaces and earrings in-store ever since.
Ann's designs are influenced by details in nature, showing through as organic shapes and textures that celebrate the beauty in imperfection. Serving as a reminder that "...we're not perfect and that is perfectly fine."
On Saturday November 2nd, from 10a-4p Ann Chikahisa and her perfectly imperfect designs will be in-store for a Ring Bar + Trunk Show.
She'll be bringing an extended collection of earrings, necklaces, bracelets and finished rings along with unfinshed rings and loose gemstones for you to customize your own piece (!).
