Kick off the summer with us on Friday, June 21st from 4-7p at our Summer Solstice Happy Hour + Alzheimer's Longest Day Fundraiser.
We'll be sipping cocktails by 1pt Infusions and noshing on bites by local cookbook author Kim O'Donnel while raising awareness for The Alzheimer's Association (our close-to-home-cause) during their annual Longest Day Fundraiser. We'll also have drawings for kitchen and bar giveaways and a gift-with-donation of $25 or more, courtesy of our in-house artist and Click! proprietress, Frances Smersh.
Frances was diagnosed with young onset Alzheimer's disease four years ago at age 48. She has continued to make art as the disease has progressed which she shows here at Click! alongside her jewelry collection. Guests making a donation of $25 or more through our Alzheimer's Association fundraising page will receive one of Frances's "Littles", the tiny framed sketches she's been working on recently (while they last!).
Every year on The Longest Day, thousands of participants across the globe join together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's. The funds that are raised help the Alzheimer's Association offer face-to face support and online education programs along with investing in worldwide research initiatives - all of which make a huge a difference in the lives of those facing Alzheimer’s.
