We're officially re-opening for in-store shopping on Thursday, June 25th 2020!
During our COVID-19 closure a lot of things have shifted and remain a bit of a moving target. We've made some small changes to the store set up and are working on a shortened schedule, making sure we have plenty of time for our additional cleaning measures and minimizing exposure for our team and community.
Our schedule may vary week to week for a little bit. Each week we'll post shop hours to our IG and FB pages and update our voicemail with current details (206.328.9252).
Our hours are as follows for the week of June 22nd-June 28th:
We've missed you all we can't wait to see you again. Here's what to expect when you visit us in-store:
- Occupancy: 3 customers in-store at a time, 30 minute limit per visit
- Masks: We'll be wearing masks and ask that you do as well. We have disposable masks on hand for anyone who needs one. If you're not able to wear a mask in-store please consider shopping online or from the window. We're happy to bring your purchase to the door but are unable to make exceptions to the in-store mask requirement.
- Sanitizer stations: There will be a sanitizer station at the door - please sanitize your hands upon entry. We'll also have sanitizer stations for use around the store in potential high-touch areas.
- Floor markers: Our floor is marked out into "sections" indicated by social distancing stickers. Each marker is at least 6 feet from the next to help us all keep our distance from one another. As such, please one person per section (exception: occupying the section as one of your household members).
- Stay close: Please keep small kiddos close by :)
If you follow us on social media or received our fundraising email, you know that we stand with the Black Lives Matter movement. Through the first round of fundraising, you all raised $2,752 for BLMSKC, Not This Time, The Loveland Foundation, Fair Fight, Color of Change, Looking Out Foundation, Black Voters Matter, the NAACP and two different chapters of the ACLU.
A second round of fundraising is in the works to continue raising money and awareness for social and racial justice work. The second fundraiser will take place over the summer and will include personal recommendations from our shared team document of artists, educators, books, articles, movies and more. We'll continue to share updates, info and inspo on this long and winding road.
Thank you, as always for your ongoing support. We quite literally couldn't do it without you. See you soon <3.
