Two topics that are near and dear to us at Click! are good food and healthy brains. So naturally we are thrilled to host West Seattle dietician Michelle Babb as she launches her latest book Anti-Inflammatory Eating for a Happy, Healthy Brain: 75 Recipes for Alleviating Depression, Anxiety, and Memory Loss. Michelle will be here from 2-4pm Saturday November 5th to share delicious snacks and sign copies. This is more than just a cookbook: she first shares the science behind the mind-gut connection, then gives practical advice on how to stock the pantry so you'll have the right foods on hand....

Click co-proprietress Frances Smersh and encaustic painter Stephanie Hargrave have spent the last several months creating a beautiful body of work and having a hell of a lot of fun doing it. We will introduce the resulting mixed media paintings Thursday October 13. The two artists have been friends for decades and collectors of each other's works (jewelry, ceramics, painting, sculpture, etc.) since the day they met. Though the two have shared studio space in the past, this is the largest co-creation experiment they've taken on to date.  Their shared aesthetic spans a range from architectural to organic. First and foremost, we want to express our immense gratitude for all of you. You have blown us away with the sincerity of your warm, loving hugs and your incredible generosity. We honestly could not ask for a better community, and we are forever grateful for each and every one of you.
