June Featured Artist: Jennifer Foran

June Featured Artist: Jennifer Foran

The scenes that Jennifer Foran creates on wood slices and panels perfectly encapsulate everything we love about this little (upper left) corner that we call home. With their rustic-meets-modern vibe and their quiet, perfectly balanced color palettes, her trees, mountains and moonscapes are like dreamy windows, looking out onto our favorite places. Jennifer's work is included in our Wood Group Show, a collection of featured artists that will run through July 10th. The entire collection of works debuts during West Seattle Art Walk on Thursday, June 9th from 5-8p with select pieces available online.   How would you describe what...

More than a picture book, nature lovers and artists of all levels can use this guide to complete their own color studies with Lorene's shared techniques in painting, gardening and...

We think you'll love it too. Meet Katie during the April and May West Seattle Art Walks on Thursday 4.14 and Thursday 5.12 from 5-8p. February Featured Artist: Erik Railton

February Featured Artist: Erik Railton

We originally noticed painter + skateboarder Erik Railton and his colorful, geometric, abstract works back in 2018. We'd planned to host his second showing in March 2020 and, well...you know what happened then. We're beyond stoked to mark his long-awaited return to West Seattle this week during Art Walk! He'll be bringing new work in his signature, calming color palette along with prints and tote bags — including a few pieces done specially for this show (hello, West Seattle painting! hi there, Olympics!). Meet Erik Thursday, February 10th between 4-7p. Show runs through March 6th with select pieces available online here. (p.s.: Valentines Day is coming...
