From now until Christmas, many of your favorite Junction businesses will be staying open late for shopping and fun! Each week we'll have rotating special events, including sales, trunk shows, tastings, and more. Below is an outline of our events; mark your calendars now!
Thursday Nov. 10th 6-9pm West Seattle Art Walk! always a great time to be in the Junction. Featuring the art of Rachel Austin.
Thursday Nov. 17th 6-9pm
Trunk show! Dawn Benedetto's Poppi rings are the perfect holiday party accessory, and their one-size-fits-most style makes them the perfect gift. Meet the maker: Dawn is flying out from DC with her full jewelry line and an infectious laugh that will make this a very fun evening.
Sample! Snack on holiday bites by Kim O'Donnel, local author of "The Meatlover's Meatless Cookbook". Rumor has it Kim is working on a new book about meatless holiday recipes and may have some ideas for your holiday meals.
Thursday Dec. 1st 6-9pm Trunk show! Meet the folks from Seattle's own Alchemy Goods. Expect to see the full line of these sweet messenger bags, handbags, wallets, belts and more, all made of "upcycled" bicycle tire inner tubes that in a previous life may have rolled down your street.
Thursday Dec. 8th 6-9pm
Artwalk! Most participating businesses will be collecting for various charitable organizations this night. Click! will be supporting Arts Corps.
Sample! Jams, jellies and preserves oh my!: a tasting of creative locally made (and grown) fruit concoctions with award winning preservist, Rebecca Staffel, proprietress and Taster in Chief of Deluxe Foods.
Thursday Dec. 15th 6-9pm Trunk show! The amazing Erica Gordon of Steel Toe Studios will dress you up with her hand-dyed leather belts and hand forged/welded/fabricated steel, brass, and copper belt buckles, straight outta Georgetown.
