We're in love with the porcelain ceramics of Gleena (which means clay in Russian). The woman behind Gleena is Asya Palatova, a Russian native who grew up spending lengthy summers at her family dacha, a Russian country house. Surrounded by her grandmother's carefully tended gardens and apple trees, the dacha proved to be an source of endless inspiration for Asya's simple, organic shapes.

Asya's porcelain tableware is all handmade in her Rhode Island studio. We love her delicious, sherbet-y colors and sweet, simple decals. Her images range from flowers and romantic lettering to tiny forks and spoons.
