This Saturday, May 9th is West Seattle Community Garage Sale day. There are hundreds of sales including individuals, groups of neighbors, and many businesses. We'll be participating by taking our sale and clearance items out to the sidewalk, marked at half price or even less. And we're not just talking about Christmas ornaments here. There will be previous season's handbags from Orla Kiely and others, the Angela Adams wool rugs that we're not able to carry any more, handmade pottery, picture frames, and much much more. The highlight for many is the sale jewelry. Each year, we dig through our drawers and find the sad and lonely pieces looking for a home: the prototypes that never made it into production, the "seconds" that have a minor blemish, the discontinued designs, and the single earrings that have lost their mate. We price these to be very affordable, and they usually go fast. We will open at 9am on Saturday for all you early birds, as that is when Garage Sale Day officially kicks off. See you then!
