18 years of Design That Fits

What a run. 18 years of bringing art and contemporary goods to West Seattle, and 18 years of building community, connection and friendships.

With our lease officially expired, we've moved out of the space and Click! Design That Fits is closed for the foreseeable future, both in person and online. If anything changes with our status, we'll reach out via our newsletter, IG, and the West Seattle Blog.

The way you all responded to our "last call" was nothing short of incredible. We needed help to get out fast and you answered by buying every single product*, fixture and piece of equipment we owned. (*we have about 10 pairs of Frances's earrings left, please contact Adia for details)

We love you, dear friends, and can't thank you enough for your support through all the years – especially the last few which have seen more than their fair share of challenges.

As far as what's next for us... we've got some things up our sleeves :).

In the short term, John will be hitting the road on a European adventure, starting with the Camino de Santiago in Portugal and Spain. Follow along through his Instagram feed where he may occasionally post an update (or maybe not - there's something tempting about being completely offline...). He plans to stay in West Seattle and will be back in the neighborhood soon – say hi if you see him bopping around!

Adia is opening a new store on the Eastside, with online shopping for those who aren't able to visit in person :). She'll also continue working on her jewelry line, Rain City Forge. CITRINE design shop opens 11.1.22 and will feature small batch jewelry, works by independent artists and a thoughtfully curated selection of gift + home items. Check out the shop here and follow CITRINE and Rain City Forge on IG. (oh, p.s. she's also been selected to participate in the 40 under 40 art exhibition at Schack Art Center this fall!)

Elyssa's heading to Japan soon where she'll be eating lots of vegan meals, sipping the best sakes and gathering inspiration for her art practice, which include the beautiful wood bowls we've recently had in store. Keep up with her on IG and through her website.

Diane is looking forward to creating more intricate, meticulous wood veneer art pieces in her West Seattle studio. If you've loved the wood art on our walls the past few months (who hasn't?!) make sure to follow her IG and save her website.

We've also had the pleasure of working with a lot of makers and artists over the years, a number of whom were featured in our Click! Alumni Show over the summer. Their info can be found in this blog post. We can't think of a more fitting way to close our doors than by sharing the work of some of the people who have made Click! click since the beginning.

With all the love + immense gratitude,

John, Adia + the Click! crew
