You probably know Alena Hennessy for her lovely silk-screened scarves and t-shirts that we carry (and can’t keep on the shelves) at Click!  During September, we’re highlighting this multi-faceted artist with a show of delicate paintings in her signature style.  Saturday, September 11, we are hosting an opening of Alena’s newest work — opalescent watercolors and finely rendered pen & ink drawings on handmade paper.

Stop by from 5-8pm and meet Alena (who is as sweet as her delicious art!), enjoy delicious refreshments and treats, and fall in love with her paintings.  We’ll also have an expanded selection of her t-shirts and scarves on hand if you prefer to wear her art.

This is a wonderfully designed reusable bag!  Flip & Tumble bags quickly fold into a stretchy pouch, creating a small portable ball. Well, it doesn’t quite feel like it in Seattle, but summer is upon us.  This (should) mean lots of quality time on the patio, sipping your beverage of choice in our long-lasting summer twilight.

We procured our notNeutral Hurricane lanterns to help light such occasions — in five summery colors and two lovely patterns.  They are a treat to look at during the day, and cast fabulously intricate shadows when lit at night.

A pair of lanterns with pillar candles (and you get to mix and match the color and pattern) is a mere $32.  Happy summer!

Click! is in love with the new work from PMO Design, located in Montreal, CA.   We just got in a collection of (the cutest!) salt and pepper shakers and lovely cozy mugs.  We have a flock of shakers ready to be paired up, taken home, and join you at your table.  These little guys/gals are individually handmade, giving each one their own personality.  You can choose a white & white pair or a black & white pair for only $25.  So cute!

PMO Design also creates handmade ceramic mugs snuggled inside cozies.  Each cozy is hand-knit by the designer’s mom(!) and is machine-washable and dryer-safe.  The mugs come in two sizes; a small is $21 and large is $25.

We also heart Ink Dish because of their exemplary production standards.  Designed in San Diego, CA, their partner factory in Bangladesh pays living wages, provides their employees three breaks a day with food and is staffed with a full-time doctor for employees and their families.  How can you not love that?
