Yesterday the Seattle Times reported that during last December’s snow storm the mayor’s neighborhood received “preferential treatment” from the snow plows. As it turns out, Mayor Nickels lives just a couple blocks from Click!, and last night Deborah Horne from KIRO TV interviewed Frances (“a jewelry designer in West Seattle”) in the store. She set the record straight — California Ave north of Admiral was basically unplowed for much of the storm — and looked great on the 11 o’clock news.
